Financial management means the effective, efficient and economical management of money (funds) in such a manner as to accomplish the objectives of the organisation. Pro-Active Public Services College prides itself on providing practical, workplace-based, financial management skills programmes for all three spheres of government, which aim to reach the following goals:

  • increase skills and performance of financial practitioners;
  • enhance transparency and accountability of departments and local governments; and
  • improve departmental and local governmental compliance with Constitutional and other legislative provisions.
