Financial management means the effective, efficient and economical management of money (funds) in such a manner as to accomplish the objectives of the organisation. Pro-Active Public Services College prides itself on providing practical, workplace-based, financial management skills programmes for all three spheres of government, which aim to reach the following goals:
- increase skills and performance of financial practitioners;
- enhance transparency and accountability of departments and local governments; and
- improve departmental and local governmental compliance with Constitutional and other legislative provisions.
Skills programmes are developed and facilitated by qualified subject matter experts with extensive practical experience in the field of public finance and outcomes-based education and training.
